Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt’s football journey reflects resilience and consistent production at every level. A Montgomery, Alabama native, he began his collegiate career at Alabama State before breaking out at the University of New Mexico, where he rushed for over 1,100 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2023. He later transferred to the University of Arizona, making an immediate impact in his lone appearance with a 100-yard rushing performance.

Croskey-Merritt elevated his NFL profile at the East–West Shrine Bowl, earning Offensive MVP honors after rushing for 97 yards and two touchdowns against top draft prospects. That performance helped propel him to the NFL, where he was selected by the Washington Commanders in the 2025 NFL Draft.

As a rookie, Croskey-Merritt quickly emerged as a productive contributor, finishing the season with 776 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, and multiple Rookie of the Week honors. Known for his vision, balance, and explosive running style, he continues to establish himself as a dynamic presence in Washington’s backfield.
